§ 22-31. Type and capacity—Garbage receptacles.

All receptacles for garbage shall be watertight, made of metal with closefitting covers, and shall be provided with suitable handles. Each such receptacle shall have a capacity of not less than five or more than 30 gallons. However, plastic bags or containers approved by the board of trustees may be used for the disposal of garbage and/or refuse.
