§ 2-93. Effects of office.

  • Each officer and employee of the village shall carefully preserve in his office all books, records, papers, maps and effects of every description belonging to the village or appertaining to his office or employment. On the expiration in any way of his official term, each village officer and employee shall deliver all such books, records, papers and effects to his successor in office.
