§ 6-8. Redemption from pound.

Except as otherwise provided in article III of this chapter, the owner or keeper of any animal or poultry impounded pursuant to this chapter may redeem it from the pound within three days from the date of impoundment upon payment of a fee in the amount established by ordinance, plus the cost of keeping such animal or poultry while impounded.
