§ 6-47. Duties of owner.

It shall be the duty of any person keeping, harboring or otherwise maintaining any animal suffering from rabies to place such animal immediately in a veterinary hospital, or upon demand, to render such animal to any police officer or other person charged with the enforcement of this article.
