§ 10-2. Duties of cemetery committee.

It shall be the duty of the cemetery committee to take and have charge of the village cemetery and superintend all improvements and work therein. Such committee shall employ a suitable person or persons to dig graves and be in attendance at the burial of the dead whenever such service is required by the owner of any lot, and such work shall be done under the directions of said committee at the cost of the lot owner.
