§ 10-5. Enforcement of purchase price.

  • No lot in the village cemetery shall be considered sold until all of the purchase money therefor has been actually paid to the village clerk. If any corpse or the remains of a human being has been or hereafter shall be interred upon any lot in the cemetery before all the purchase money for such lot has been actually paid to the clerk, the cemetery committee may, at the expiration of six months from the time of such interment, disinter such corpse or remains and bury the same in any lot selected or designated by resolution of the board of trustees for the burial of poor or transient persons.
