Before a subdivision shall be approved, the village engineer shall certify that the
improvements described in the subdivider's plans and specifications, together with
agreements, meet the minimum requirements of all ordinances of the village and that
they comply with the following:
Unless otherwise specified, all construction work shall be in accordance with the
provisions of the current issue of the Standard Specification for Road and Bridge
Construction, adopted January 2, 1958, by the Department of Public Works and Buildings,
Division of Highways of the State of Illinois, as the same is amended from time to
time, and hereinafter referred to as the "Standard specification." Unless otherwise
specified design standards shall be as specified in the current issue of the manual
Highway Standards as published by the Bureau of Construction, Division of Highways,
Department of Public Works and Buildings, State of Illinois, as the same is amended
from time to time, and hereinafter referred to as "highway standards."
